2027 Sand Storm Boys Desert Showcase
The Sand Storm Boys Desert Showcase brings together 200 elite high school players for an opportunity to develop their skills and compete in front of more than 30 college coaches.
Players will receive hands-on instruction through positional and small-group training before competing in full-field showcase games. The event will also include recruiting education for players and parents.

Location: Empire Polo Club | Indio, California
Date / Time: Friday, January 15, 2027 | 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Eligibility: Boys in the 2027–2030 graduating classes
Registration Fee: $225 per player
Positions: Attack, Midfield, SSDM, FOGO, LSM, Defense, Goalie
Schedule
• 11:00 a.m. — Player check-in (near LaxMall)
• 12:00 p.m. — Showcase begins
• 12:00–1:00 p.m. — Positional clinic
• 1:00–4:30 p.m. — Showcase games and recruiting seminar
Player Experience
• Two showcase games per team
• Positional and small-group training
• Recruiting seminar for players and parents
• Reversible showcase pinnie
• Showcase All-Star selections recognized on the Sand Storm website and social media and shared with participating college coaches
Parking passes will be required to park at the venue on Friday. If participating in the Girls Desert Showcase, we recommend purchasing a parking pass for the White Parking Lot (GA), Orange Parking Lot (VIP) or Gold Parking Lot (VVIP) for Friday. These parking lots will open at 10:00am. Parking passes will go on sale 12/8.

FRIDAY TEAM PRACTICE FIELD RENTALS
Friday, January 15
A limited number of practice fields will be available for rent on Friday, January 15, 2027, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Teams may reserve either a half field or full field.
Friday Team Practice Field Rental Registration
Practice sessions are available during the following one-hour time blocks. Teams may reserve multiple consecutive sessions:
• 12:30–1:30 p.m.
• 1:30–2:30 p.m.
• 2:30–3:30 p.m.
• 3:30–4:30 p.m.
Fields will not be available after 4:30 p.m.
Practice Registration will close on January 5, 2027, or when all available practice sessions have sold out, whichever occurs first. Teams are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred practice time.
Field assignments will be sent by Friday, January 8, 2027.
Friday Parking
A parking pass is required to park at the venue on Friday. Teams participating in practice sessions are encouraged to purchase a pass for one of the following lots:
• White Parking Lot — General Admission
• Orange Parking Lot — VIP
• Gold Parking Lot — VVIP
Parking passes will go on sale Tuesday, December 8, 2026.
MONDAY NEW BALANCE ALL-AMERICA REGIONAL TRYOUTS
Monday, January 18
The 2027 New Balance All-America Southwest and West Regional Tryouts will take place on Monday, January 18, 2027, at the Empire Polo Club.
Boys and girls in the 2029, 2030, 2031 and 2032 graduation classes are invited to compete for the opportunity to represent their region at the New Balance All-America Underclass Tournament in Baltimore. Tryouts are open to all eligible athletes, and no coach recommendation is required.
Tryout pinnies will be available for pickup throughout the day on Sunday at the All-America tent located in Lax Mall.
Monday’s tryout fields will be conveniently located adjacent to Lax Mall with complimentary parking located in the Gold Parking Lot.
Southwest Region Information & Registration
Eligible States: AZ, AR, CO, ID, NM, NV, OK, TX, UT & WY
Tryout Time: 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
West Region Information & Registration
Eligible States: AK, CA, HI, ID, MT, NV, OR, WA & WY
Tryout Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
